I love Market Day! There are lots of talented producers to talk to, friends drop by for a chat and a coffee. And there is always the cake! For August I made a brandied fruit cake, I soaked chopped dried fruits in brandy and added it to my usual gluten free cake recipe.
I have also made some treats for man’s best friend, which are selling well.
I also get very excited when I find new products to sell at the market and this includes some handmade cultured butter and creme fraiche that a very clever lady called Maureen is making in Canberra. They are very popular on market day and both are extra delicious.
